If Target Builds It, They Will Come


Calling all shoppers!! Target, brings affordable yet trendy fashion to Manhanttan!!! Woo hoo. On Tuesday, July 20, 2010, Manhattan's first Target located in East Harlem was celebrated with a star studded block party. Celebrities, designers, and community leaders enjoyed live music from Doug E. Fresh and an exclusive preview of the new store location.

This Target showcases the exclusive Harlem Designer Collection, a limited series featuring beachwear from Isabel and Ruben Toledo, dresses from veteran Stephen Burrows and kitchenware from Marc Samuelsson. Each collection will benefit the Harlem community, with 5 percent of each product’s sale price going to a local charity of the designer’s choice.

The East Harlem Target uniquely captures the spirit of its community with a tailored selection of many multicultural offering. Apartment appropriate items and everyday essentials are also offered.

Manhattan's ONLY Target will have its' GRAND Opening on Sunday, July 25, 2010.
